11 servicemen in Armenia under investigation due to border hostilities with Azerbaijan

Eleven Armenian servicemen are being investigated in a criminal case related to the hostilities on the conditional Armenian-Azerbaijani border in September 2022.

According to Caliber.Az, Argishti Kyaramyan, chairman of the Investigative Committee, confirmed the news in an interview with Armenian Public Television. Most of these military men were arrested, the investigation on 4 episodes was completed, and the materials were submitted to the court, Kyaramyan said.

According to him, the issue is related to mid-level officers and ordinary military personnel. Kyaramyan did not disclose the details of what they are charged with, referring to the fact that the case has not yet been completed.
