EU top diplomat makes another pro-Armenian statement

    EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has made another pro-Armenian statement.

    “The situation in Armenia requires the EU’s big support,” he told reporters before a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council, Caliber.Az reports.

    He noted that he is holding his first meeting with the Armenian foreign minister.

    “It is important to continue paying attention to the situation in the Eastern Partnership countries and, in particular, Armenia, which is in a very difficult situation. The situation in Armenia requires our big support,” Borrell said.

    He also noted that the European Commission positively assesses the progress of Georgia's accession to the EU.
