Lieutenant Colonel: Azerbaijan Air Force delivers top results in "Anatolian Eagle-2025" drills
Azerbaijan’s Air Force continues to assert its growing military capabilities and strategic partnerships through active participation in the high-profile international exercises “Anatolian Eagle-2025.”
Lieutenant Colonel Sabir Nasirov highlighted the importance of the drills as a critical platform for mastering advanced technologies and combat tactics shared by allied nations, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
“These exercises are more than training; they are a proving ground where we absorb cutting-edge knowledge and techniques from global partners, including our close allies in Türkiye and NATO forces,” Nasirov said.
This is not Azerbaijan’s first appearance in such top-tier international exercises. The country’s pilots have previously showcased their skills at the Anatolian Phoenix drills in Kazakhstan, demonstrating a clear commitment to maintaining a high operational standard and elevating the country’s defence posture.
“At every exercise, we aim to uphold the highest standards and represent Azerbaijan with distinction. Our performance consistently reflects the professionalism and dedication of our airmen,” Nasirov affirmed.
Held in Konya, Türkiye, the Anatolian Eagle 2025 exercises have drawn considerable media attention, with journalists from 34 countries reporting on the event and more than 1,100 photographers capturing the training flights.
Observers from Malaysia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Mali, and Nigeria are also in attendance to monitor the proceedings.
The main objective of the drills is to promote the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and operational experience among the participants in realistic combat scenarios, while strengthening overall readiness for joint operations.
