The Azerbaijani diggers are excavating the area around a mass grave in Azerbaijan’s Khojaly district.

After the burial was revealed, all other work in the area was suspended, Report informs.

Representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office and other state agencies are on site. Moreover, employees of the Baku office of the International Committee of the Red Cross have been invited to Khojaly.

A mass grave has been revealed in Azerbaijan’s Khojaly district during repair and construction work.

Earlier, a new mass grave site has been unearthed in the Asgaran settlement of the Khojaly district.

The skeletal remains found on the site are believed to belong to a minimum of eight individuals - victims of the Khojaly Massacre in February 1992.
