Azerbaijan ramps up investment in UK economy

Azerbaijani investment in the UK economy soared to $156.8 million in 2023, Report cites the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

It marks a remarkable 2.2-fold increase from the previous year.

Despite the impressive surge in investment, Azerbaijan's share of total investments in the UK dipped slightly from 5.9 per cent to 5 per cent during this period.

Meanwhile, the UK's investment in Azerbaijan also saw growth, reaching $1.857 billion in 2023, up by 5.5 per cent from the previous year.

Remarkably, the share of UK investments in Azerbaijan's economy remained steady at 27.9 per cent, maintaining its position from the preceding year.
