Azerbaijan, Belarus discuss potential for increasing agricultural trade
Azerbaijan's Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov has held a meeting with Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Nazaruk.
During the meeting, Mammadov emphasised Azerbaijan's commitment to enhancing agricultural cooperation with Belarus, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry.
He highlighted the ongoing efforts to expand collaboration in the agricultural sector and expressed keen interest in Belarus' experience with building agrarian cities and agro-industrial complexes.
The Azerbaijani minister noted that there is significant potential to increase trade volumes in agricultural products between the two countries.
During the meeting, Nazaruk noted that agricultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus is progressing rapidly. He emphasised that mutual participation in international agricultural exhibitions hosted by both countries contributes to the further development of bilateral relations.
Nazaruk remarked that the desire to mutually benefit from each country’s extensive experience in various agricultural sectors allows for even greater expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus. The meeting also included a discussion on current issues and ongoing cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two nations.
