Azerbaijan’s SOFAZ chief holds investment talks in Bahrain, Kuwait Photo

Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), Israfil Mammadov, has completed working visits to Bahrain and Kuwait aimed at strengthening international investment partnerships. 

SOFAZ said the visit was intended to broaden global cooperation and explore opportunities for mutual investment through high-level meetings with leaders of sovereign wealth funds, government institutions, and key sectors in both countries, Caliber.Az reports via the fund. 

During the trip, Mammadov met with senior officials in Bahrain and Kuwait to discuss portfolio diversification, potential entry into new markets, and prospects for deeper economic cooperation. Talks also covered the expansion of regional investment flows, ways to attract additional capital, and other areas of shared interest.
