SOCAR, MAIRE Group consider new avenues for energy cooperation

President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf met with MAIRE Group CEO Alessandro Bernini to discuss new areas of cooperation, according to a post by Najaf on X.

The meeting focused on the development of energy ties between Azerbaijan and Italy, as well as the long-standing partnership between SOCAR and MAIRE, Caliber.Az reports.

“We underscored the dynamic development of energy ties between Azerbaijan and Italy, as well as the importance of the successful long-standing partnership between SOCAR and MAIRE,” Najaf wrote.

The two sides also considered opportunities to expand their cooperation beyond existing areas and advance joint initiatives.

“We explored opportunities to further develop our cooperation in new areas and pursue joint projects. I believe that the results we have achieved together and our mutual trust provide a strong foundation for the next stage of our cooperation,” the SOCAR president said.
