Azerbaijan Central Bank, Citigroup discuss expanding cooperation PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s Central Bank has discussed expanding cooperation and developing a strategic partnership with a Citigroup delegation.

Bank officials said the sides – First Deputy Governor Aliyar Mammadov and Citigroup Executive Director and Head of Client Services David Livingstone – focused on key trends in the global banking sector, existing challenges and development prospects, Caliber.Az reports.

They also exchanged views on correspondent banking, the development of money markets, as well as experience in managing foreign exchange reserves.

Jason Zullo, the bank’s Corporate Banking Director for the Caucasus and Central Asia also attended the meeting.

“The meeting discussed key trends in the global banking sector, existing challenges and development prospects, correspondent banking, the development of money markets, as well as experience in managing foreign exchange reserves,” the Central Bank noted.
