SOCAR, Brookfield discuss energy infrastructure, renewable projects

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Brookfield Asset Management CEO Connor Teskey and his delegation to discuss potential cooperation in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

According to Najaf’s post on X, the talks focused on energy infrastructure, renewable energy projects and new financing opportunities, Caliber.Az reports.

The sides also discussed SOCAR’s corporate strategy and priorities for expanding the Azerbaijani energy company’s international presence.

“Creating long-term value in the energy sector requires partnerships that bring together global investment expertise, advanced technologies and a forward-looking approach,” Najaf wrote.

He added that potential cooperation with Brookfield Asset Management could create new opportunities for SOCAR to advance strategic energy and infrastructure projects and further expand its international footprint.
