Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports to Ukraine surge, trade value hits $171 millions
Ukraine has significantly increased its imports of non-oil products from Azerbaijan, reflecting broader shifts in regional trade patterns.
According to the data by the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, provided to Caliber.Az, Azerbaijan’s exports of non-oil products to Ukraine reached $171.4 million during January–October 2025, nearly doubling compared to the same period last year.
Despite Ukraine ranking fifth among Azerbaijan’s non-oil trade partners, the country recorded one of the highest growth rates. Georgia imported $273.6 million worth of non-oil products, up 16.9%, while Switzerland saw a notable surge of 70.7%, totalling $288.3 million in imports.
Russia remained Azerbaijan’s largest market for non-oil goods, importing $968.9 million (up 1.3%), followed by Türkiye with $486.3 million, a 1.8% increase year-on-year.
October trade flows showed mixed trends: Russia imported $90 million in non-oil goods (down 20.4%), Türkiye $50.6 million (up 19.1%), Switzerland $40.6 million (down 17.6%), Georgia $28.8 million (down 26%), and Ukraine $24.1 million, representing a 2.7-fold increase compared to October 2024.
