Azerbaijan’s 2027 oil outlook stays largely stable, EIA says
Azerbaijan’s average daily oil production is projected to reach 520,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2027, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The forecast was included in the EIA’s September edition of its Short-Term Energy Outlook, Caliber.Az reports.
The agency maintained its 2027 production forecast unchanged from its August estimate.
Azerbaijan’s oil output is expected to average 530,000 bpd in the first quarter of 2027, also unchanged from the previous forecast.
The EIA projects average production of 520,000 bpd in both the second and third quarters, maintaining its earlier estimates.
Output is then forecast to decline to 510,000 bpd in the fourth quarter of 2027, with the figure likewise unchanged from the August outlook.
Overall, the EIA’s latest forecast points to a broadly stable production outlook for Azerbaijan in 2027, with output gradually declining toward the end of the year.
