Azerbaijan promotes business opportunities at major China trade fair PHOTO

Azerbaijan is participating with a national pavilion at the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT 2026) in Xiamen, Fujian Province, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) announced.

The pavilion, organized with the support of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy, the Office of the Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in China, and AZPROMO, showcases the country’s business and investment opportunities. Azerbaijan is participating in the international fair for the third time. The event will run through September 11, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Visitors to the pavilion are being briefed on Azerbaijan’s business and investment environment, incentives available to investors, and promising investment projects. The national pavilion is divided into four main sections covering finance and investment, economic zones, real estate, and Made in Azerbaijan products.

An AZPROMO representative also took part in a panel discussion titled “Policy Finance for Resilient and Efficient Industrial and Supply Chains”, held as part of the "Global Wisdom, Mutual Empowerment: International Investment and Cooperation Exchange" event on the margins the exhibition.

The discussions focused on expanding investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and China, promoting joint production and technology transfer, and leveraging the Middle Corridor as an investment and industrial platform. Participants also stressed the importance of strengthening financial cooperation to support the implementation of concrete, mutually beneficial projects.

CIFIT 2026 serves as a platform for Azerbaijan to showcase its economic potential to international investors and business communities, establish new partnerships, and further develop trade and investment ties.
