Azerbaijan, World Bank explore new green energy projects
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with a World Bank delegation led by Rolande Pryce, the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, to explore new opportunities for green energy cooperation.
As Caliber.Az reports, via the Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting highlighted the long-standing and productive partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank. The sides noted that joint projects implemented to date have contributed to the country’s socio-economic development.
The parties also discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in a number of priority areas, including sustainable urban development, green energy, infrastructure, agriculture, water supply, and water resources management.
The meeting focused on prospects for further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and advancing new joint projects between Azerbaijan and the World Bank.
