Baku, Beijing target stronger partnership in green energy

Azerbaijan and China have discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in renewable and green energy projects.

The discussions were held during a meeting between AzerEnerji Chairman Babak Rzayev and China Energy International Group Executive President Lin Xiaodan, Caliber.Az reports.

The sides reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, with particular attention to potential partnerships in renewable energy.

The meeting also focused on the activities of Chinese energy companies operating in Azerbaijan and potential measures to further expand their involvement in the country’s energy sector.
