Bomb threat triggers emergency evacuation at Larnaca Airport

Passengers on a plane preparing to depart from Larnaca Airport in Cyprus were evacuated after authorities received a report of a bomb threat on board, Cypriot outlet Philenews reported.

The flight was reportedly bound for Italy. After passengers were evacuated, the aircraft and surrounding area were cordoned off while authorities investigated the reported threat.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities have not provided further details on the nature or credibility of the threat.
