SOCAR hosts event on collaboration with civil society organisations Photo

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) hosted an event focused on “Organizing Work with Civil Society Institutions” at its headquarters, the company announced.

The event began with a tour of SOCAR’s exhibitions, including “Heydar Aliyev and the Oil Strategy” and “Azerbaijani Oil,” attended by representatives of local non-governmental organisations (NGOs), Caliber.Az reports. 

A presentation followed, highlighting SOCAR’s efforts in 2025 to strengthen collaboration with civil society institutions, enhance transparency in recruitment, and implement internal mechanisms for monitoring workplace discipline.

The program concluded with a question-and-answer session, allowing NGO representatives to engage directly with SOCAR officials and discuss the company’s initiatives in governance and transparency.

SOCAR emphasised that the event reflects its ongoing commitment to fostering dialogue and cooperation with civil society stakeholders.
