26 March 2026 15:00
Azerbaijan recorded a decline in pomegranate exports in the first two months of 2026, according to the State Customs Committee, cited by Report.
Between January and February, the country exported 3,132 tonnes of pomegranates, marking an 18.6% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Export revenues totalled $2.686 million, down 20.3% year-on-year.
Despite the decline, pomegranate exports continue to represent only a small share of Azerbaijan’s overall export revenues.
