Azerbaijan exports nearly $18 million in apples

In the first two months of 2026, Azerbaijan exported 22,600 tonnes of apples, generating $17.6 million, local media reports, citing the State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period last year, revenue from apple exports increased by $4 million (30%), while shipment volumes rose by 1,900 tonnes (9.5%). Apples accounted for 0.5% of Azerbaijan’s total exports.

During January–February, Azerbaijan’s total foreign trade turnover reached $6.26 billion, with $3.66 billion in exports and $2.6 billion in imports. Compared to last year, exports fell by 23.1%, while imports decreased by 37.2%.
