Azerbaijani, Chinese officials discuss capital market cooperation

Central Bank of Azerbaijan Chairman Taleh Kazimov met with Wu Qing, Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), during a working visit to China. 

The two officials discussed the current state of capital market development in both countries, recent changes in regulatory and supervisory frameworks, and the adoption of innovative financial instruments and technological solutions, Caliber.Az reports. 

They also exchanged information on investor protection measures and efforts to increase private investor participation in capital markets.

The meeting included an exchange of views on future cooperation and potential joint initiatives between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the CSRC.
