Russian construction company expands global reach with projects in Azerbaijan, beyond
Natsproektstroy Group of Companies (NPS Group of Companies), Russia's largest full-cycle construction holding, is making significant strides in international markets, including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Serbia.
Addressing the discussion on “Infrastructure as a starting point for Eurasian Integration” at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2024), General Director of Bamstroymekhanisatsiya—a subsidiary of Natsproektstroy, Vusal Ismayilzade, emphasized that Russia is witnessing the rise of major industry players capable of exporting their expertise in infrastructure projects, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
“Natsproektstroy stands as one of the largest construction holdings with comprehensive competencies in the field. For instance, on the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM), we deploy around 23,000 personnel, with approximately 12,000 actively working on site at any given time. We are confident that if the opportunity arises to further penetrate foreign markets, we will meet the challenge,” he noted.
The forum also underscored a significant development: the Azerbaijani construction firm Rail Trans Service (RTS) has entered into a contract with Bamstroymekhanisatsiya, which is part of 1520 Group of Companies.
This agreement is part of the broader Baikal-Amur Mainline modernization project, highlighting Natsproektstroy's expanding influence and collaborative efforts across the Eurasian region.
