Azerbaijan Defence Ministry signs $5.25 million in procurement contracts
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence has signed a series of procurement contracts worth a total of 8.93 million manats ($5.25 million) for spare parts and special equipment for military units, according to the government’s public procurement website.
The ministry concluded agreements with Inport LLC and NM Stock LLC to supply various brands of tires for automotive equipment, valued at 2.49 million manats ($1.46 million) and 1.32 million manats ($774,000), respectively, Caliber.Az reports.
Nafta Baku LLC was awarded a contract worth 1.52 million manats ($895,000) to provide automotive batteries.
Two further contracts were signed with ICSS LLC for the purchase and installation of lightning rods of various sizes for military units, worth 1.80 million manats ($1.06 million) and 1.80 million manats ($1.06 million).
