Azerbaijan boosts non-oil exports by nearly 20%
From January through February 2026, Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports amounted to $580.7 million, up 19.7% compared to the same period in 2025, according to calculations by the country's Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (CAERC).
Preliminary figures for the March report of the Export Review shows that food exports for the period rose by 30.5%, reaching $200.6 million, Caliber.Az informs.
From January to February 2026, sugar exports rose 3.3-fold, cotton yarn increased 1.6-fold, animal fats and oils grew by 110.8%, aluminium and related products by 37.4%, cotton fibre by 33.3%, fruits and vegetables by 32.7%, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 10.9%, and tea by 5.1%.
Additionally, agricultural exports rose by 34.6% to $160.9 million, while agro-industrial exports fell 22% to $52.5 million.
Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased 31.2%, reaching $213.4 million.
