Azerbaijan earns over $15 million from ferrous metals exports January-February data
Azerbaijan exported 11,731.31 tons of ferrous metals and related products in January–February 2026, marking a slight decline of 0.8% compared to the same period in 2025, according to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan cited by Caliber.Az.
Despite the marginal drop in volume, the value of exports rose significantly by 31.8% to $15.49564 million. The share of ferrous metals and related products in Azerbaijan’s total exports increased to 0.42%, up from 0.25% a year earlier.
During the same period, Azerbaijan imported 167,422.26 tons of ferrous metals and related products. The total value of these imports amounted to $191.30267 million, reflecting a 3.2% decline in value terms. Comparative volume data for January–February 2025 were not available.
The share of these imports in Azerbaijan’s total imports stood at 7.36%, compared to 4.78% in the corresponding period of 2025.
