Azerbaijan exports over 3.6 million tonnes of oil in first two months of 2026

Azerbaijan exported a total of 3,600,307.4 tonnes of oil to more than 10 countries in January and February 2026, according to statistics from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

The top three importers were Italy, Romania, and Portugal. During the period, Azerbaijan shipped 2,427,850 tonnes of crude oil to Italy, valued at $1.14 billion; 286,281 tonnes to Romania, worth $140.7 million; and 223,549 tonnes to Portugal, totaling $112.4 million, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

These figures reflect Azerbaijan’s continued role as a key oil supplier to European markets in early 2026.
