Current efforts are concentrated on the 75-106 kilometer stretch of the railway, where extensive earthworks and the construction of vital engineering structures are underway.
The project includes the development of eight new railway stations at Yukhary Marjanli, Shukurbayli, Soltanli, Qumlag, Hakari, Mindjavan, Bartaz, and Aghband. In total, 553 engineering structures will be built along the line, including 40 bridges, 26 road crossings, 4 tunnels, and 3 galleries.
The Horadiz-Aghband railway is part of Azerbaijan’s broader efforts to enhance transportation links in the liberated territories and strengthen regional connectivity.
