Azerbaijan-Romania trade volume surges 1.7 times in first half of 2025

The volume of mutual trade between Azerbaijan and Romania reached $413.56 million in January-June 2025, marking a 1.7-fold increase compared to the same period last year, according to data from the State Customs Committee.

Azerbaijan’s exports to Romania rose significantly by 70%, totaling $384.66 million in the first half of 2025. The export share increased to 2.99%, up from 1.75% during the January-June period of 2024, Caliber.Az reports. 

Meanwhile, imports from Romania to Azerbaijan grew by 26%, amounting to $28.89 million. The import share remained steady at around 0.25%, compared to 0.26% in the same period last year.
