IAEA chief thanks Azerbaijan for supporting nuclear safety
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), has thanked Azerbaijan for supporting nuclear safety during a meeting with Azerbaijan’s new ambassador Kamil Khasiyev.
Sharing a post on X, Grossi said the sides are working together on several areas, including nuclear infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports.
“Azerbaijan and the the IAEA are working together on energy planning, nuclear infrastructure, food security and cancer care, including with the National Oncology Centre through Rays Of Hope,” he wrote.
