Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan launch Turkic auditing union PHOTO
Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have signed an agreement establishing the Union of Professional Accounting and Auditing Regulatory Bodies of the Turkic States.
The agreement was signed in Baku during an event marking the 30th anniversary of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan and the international scientific and practical conference “Stages in the Development of Auditing: From Compliance to Strategic Partnership and Trust,” local media reports.
The document was signed by Vahid Novruzov, chairman of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan; Hayrettin Kurt, vice president of Türkiye’s Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority; Sapar Koskimbaev, chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Auditors of Kazakhstan; and Nematulla Karimov, chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Auditors of Uzbekistan.
