Azerbaijan produces more than 17.7 million tonnes of oil in eight months

Azerbaijan produced 17.6925 million tonnes of crude oil, including gas condensate, in January-August 2026, down 3.8% from the same period in 2025, according to the State Statistics Committee.

The figures provided showed marketable oil production declined by 3.8%, reaching 17.6484 million tonnes, Caliber.Az reports.

In August 2026 alone, crude oil production amounted to 2.1492 million tonnes, down 8.8%.

As previously reported, Azerbaijan produced 27.6796 million tonnes of crude oil, including gas condensate, in 2025, 4.7% less than in 2024.
