Azerbaijan, Germany explore new opportunities for AI cooperation

Azerbaijan and Germany have discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI) as part of a meeting between Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, and Germany’s newly appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan, Dirk Lölke.

In a post on X, Nabiyev said the meeting included an exchange of views on the development of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany, particularly in areas related to the Middle Corridor, aviation, digitalisation and training, Caliber.Az reports.

“We discussed the development of the Middle Corridor, Azerbaijan’s transformation into a regional digital hub, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation with German technology companies in the fields of artificial intelligence, Big Data, IoT and data centres,” Nabiyev wrote.
