Azerbaijan produces over 33 billion cubic metres of gas in eight months

Azerbaijan produced 33.4068 billion cubic metres of natural gas in January-August 2026, down 0.5% from the same period in 2025, the State Statistics Committee figures show.

Marketable gas production fell by 0.9% during the reporting period, amounting to 25.6099 billion cubic metres, Caliber.Az reports.

In August 2026 alone, gas production stood at 3.841 billion cubic metres, down 11.5%.

As previously reported, Azerbaijan produced 50.9158 billion cubic metres of natural gas in 2025, 1% more than in 2024.
