Kremlin supports Turkish proposal for international peace platform
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov agreed with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan’s call for creating an international peace platform to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
Peskov highlighted President Vladimir Putin's consistent support for diplomatic efforts and negotiations involving all interested parties, despite the absence of such a platform, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.
Peskov also praised Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s efforts to understand and resolve the Ukrainian conflict, emphasizing the value of Orban's attempt to grasp the core issues despite significant disagreements.
Regarding Iran's presidential election, Peskov expressed Russia's hopes for continued positive relations under the new head of state, Massoud Pezeshkian. On the French parliamentary elections, Peskov noted Russia's lack of expectations for improved relations with Paris but acknowledged the preference for political forces that support bilateral efforts.
