Annual inflation reaches 13% in Azerbaijan

The consumer price index reached 113 per cent, including the index for food products, drinks and tobacco products - 118.7 per cent, non-food products – 107 per cent, the paid services to the population -110.1 per cent from January through July 2022 compared to the period from January through July 2021.

Moreover, the consumer price index reached 100.5 per cent in July 2022 compared to the previous month, while 113.7 per cent compared to July 2021, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

The consumer price index for food, beverages and tobacco products reached 100.1 per cent in July 2022 compared to the previous month and 120.3 per cent compared to June 2021.

Thus, the consumer price index for non-food products reached 101.4 per cent in June 2022 compared to the previous month while 108.6 per cent compared to July 2021.

The consumer price index for the paid services to the population reached 100.4 per cent in May 2022 compared to the previous month while 108.9 per cent compared to June 2021.
