Armenia confirms participation in NATO summit in Washington
Armenia has confirmed its attendance at the NATO summit in Washington, DC, after accepting the invitation received.
Spokesperson Ani Badalyan of the Armenian Foreign Ministry stated that Armenia will participate as a partner country, Caliber.Az citing Armenian media.
The invitation includes involvement in the accompanying events marking the 75th anniversary of NATO's formation.
Badalyan clarified that Armenia has confirmed its participation in these events, noting that there are currently no additional agreements in place.
The 2024 Washington summit will convene leaders from the thirty-two member states of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), as well as their partner countries and representatives from the European Union (EU). The summit is set for July 9-11, 2024.
