Armenia, EU discuss latest steps in Baku-Yerevan peace talks
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with the Vice President of the European Commission and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
The interlocutors discussed the situation in the region, including developments related to Iran, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenia's Foreign Ministry.
They exchanged views on efforts aimed at ensuring regional stability. In the context of humanitarian issues, they touched upon the possibility and statistics of evacuating third-country nationals from Iran through the territory of Armenia.
The Armenian Foreign Minister and the EU High Representative also reviewed the latest developments in the normalisation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Regarding Armenia-EU cooperation, Ararat Mirzoyan and Kaja Kallas exchanged views on the agenda of upcoming contacts.
