Azerbaijan, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank explore deeper cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met on September 10 with Serhat Köksal, President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.
According to the Ministry of Economy, both sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of Azerbaijan–BSTDB relations and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration.

“We held a meeting with the delegation led by Serhat Köksal, President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB). During the discussions, we underscored the importance of deepening cooperation between the BSTDB and Azerbaijan’s private banking sector in order to support entrepreneurship and stimulate business development,” Minister Jabbarov wrote on X.
The parties discussed the prospects of BSTDB’s participation in potential projects planned in Azerbaijan. They also exchanged views on Azerbaijan’s economic development priorities, strategic infrastructure projects, and strengthening private sector financing opportunities.
