Azerbaijan boosts defence, national security budget by 11%

Azerbaijan has announced an 11 per cent increase in its defence and national security expenditures for 2024.

According to APA, this adjustment is outlined in the draft law "On amendments to state and review budgets for 2024" published by the Ministry of Finance.

The revised budget allocates AZN 7,126.3 million to defence and national security, marking a significant increase of AZN 705.3 million from the previously approved AZN 6,421.0 million.
