Azerbaijan discusses infrastructure projects with Iraq

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev has said that Azerbaijan and Iraq discussed the implementation of tasks arising from the bilateral meeting of the two countries’ presidents.

Minister Nabiyev made a post on his X account in this regard, Caliber.Az reports.

"As part of the visit to Iraq, Prime Minister of the country Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received members of the Azerbaijani delegation. The implementation of tasks arising from the bilateral meeting of the Azerbaijani and Iraqi presidents were discussed," he posted.

In his another post on X account, Minister Nabiyev noted that Baku and Baghdad discussed the participation of Azerbaijani companies in construction and infrastructure projects in Iraq.

"As part of the visit to Iraq, we met with the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities Bangen Rekani. During the meeting, the issues relating to the Azerbaijani companies’ involvement in construction and infrastructure projects implemented in Iraq were discussed," the post reads.
