Azerbaijan elected as UNESCO committee's vice chairman PHOTO

Azerbaijan has been elected as UNESCO committee's vice chairman.

On December 15, 2022, the 17th session of the UNESCO Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property during Armed Conflict began at the UNESCO headquarters, as Permanent Delegation of Azerbaijan to UNESCO informed Caliber.Az.

Azerbaijan is represented at the session at the level of its permanent representation at UNESCO and the leadership of the State Service for the Preservation, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Culture Ministry.

On the first day of the session the formation of Committee's Bureau was discussed. According to a unanimous decision, Azerbaijan was elected to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Committee.
