Parliamentary speaker joins Azerbaijani officials in expressing condolences to Montenegro following fatal shooting
The Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, has extended her condolences in light of the tragic shooting from January 1 to her Montenegrin counterpart, Speaker Andrija Mandić.
Speaker Gafarova has joined other Azerbaijani officials, including the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, in conveying her message of symphathy through a letter adressed to the Montenegrin government, as Caliber.Az reports.
"The news of the deaths and injuries resulting from the armed attack in the city of Cetinje, Montenegro, deeply saddened us. In connection with this tragedy, I extend my sincere condolences to you, the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to your entire nation, both on my behalf and on behalf of the members of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I also wish for a speedy recovery to the injured," her letter reads.
