Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry condemns fatal truck attack on New Orleans' French quarter

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the tragic truck attack in New Orleans, which resulted in dozens of casualties and injuries on New Year's Day.

Azerbaijan's diplomatic corps also expressed the condolences to the victims of the attack, as Caliber.Az reports citing the statement published on the ministry's official X page.

"We strongly condemn the vehicle ramming attack on a crowd in New Orleans, USA, which claimed the lives of many and injured dozens. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and loved ones. Azerbaijan unequivocally condemns all acts of terrorism in any form and manifestation," the statement reads. 

As Caliber.Az recalls, a US citizen intentionally drove his truck into Bourbon Street, a popular street in the city's famous "French quarter", where people celebrated the beginning of the new year.
