Azerbaijan is strengthening its international economic ties, holding high-level discussions with Montenegro and China on the sidelines of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF-2025) in Baku.

Jabbarov emphasised Azerbaijan’s commitment to advancing bilateral relations with Montenegro, noting that the forum provided an important platform for deepening dialogue and identifying concrete initiatives to broaden the partnership.
In another meeting, Jabbarov held talks with Deng Jinghua, Managing Director of the Silk Road Fund, to explore opportunities for future cooperation with China.

According ton his post on X, the discussions focused on implementing new investment initiatives, developing mutually beneficial projects, and enhancing collaboration within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
