Azerbaijan, North Macedonia discuss boosting economic cooperation

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, has highlighted the importance of strengthening joint efforts with North Macedonia in key economic sectors, including trade, investment, energy, tourism, and transport.

“Intensifying joint activities in these fields remains a priority on the agenda of our economic cooperation with North Macedonia,” Jabbarov said in a statement posted on X, Caliber.Az reports.

As part of a working visit to North Macedonia, the Azerbaijani delegation held a meeting with the country’s Minister of Economy and Labour, Besar Durmishi.

According to Jabbarov, the discussions focused on ways to enhance the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation and to further develop business relations between the two nations.
