Azerbaijan, Russia set to develop trade, economic cooperation
Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov and his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin have started a one-on-one meeting on the premises of Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
The members of Russian delegation which includes Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, Minister of Transport Vitaly Saveliev, Minister of Labour and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov, Director General of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina and others will join them later, TASS reports.
As earlier reported, the sides are scheduled to review a set of issues regarding the development of Russia-Azerbaijan trade and economic cooperation. Special attention will be paid to the promotion of joint projects in energy, transport, industrial, cultural and humanitarian and other areas of mutual interest. The sides are also scheduled to sign a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents.
The Russian PM arrived in Azerbaijan on a two-day working visit.
