Azerbaijan’s fixed-capital investments exceed $6.5 billion in 7 months

Azerbaijan’s fixed-capital investments amounted to 11.11 billion manats ($6.5 billion) in January-July 2026, up 10.7% from the same period last year, according to the State Statistics Committee.

The data from the agency indicated that the oil and gas sector received 3.71 billion manats ($2.1 billion) in investments during the first seven months of the year, an increase of 33.6% in real terms, Caliber.Az reports.

Investment in the non-oil and gas sector rose 1.9% to 7.4 billion manats ($4.3 billion).

Investment in the production sector increased 17.3% to 6.01 billion manats ($3.5 billion), while investment in the services sector grew 4% to 3.52 billion manats ($2 billion).

Investment in residential construction rose 3.4% to 1.58 billion manats ($931 million).

According to the statistics, domestic investment accounted for 8.32 billion manats ($4.9 billion), or 74.9% of total fixed-capital investment, up 8.2%.

Foreign investment amounted to 2.79 billion manats ($1.6 billion), or 25.1%, marking an 18.9% increase.
