Azerbaijani FM to discuss bilateral cooperation issues in Georgia

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will visit Georgia on June 27.
Bayramov is expected to meet with Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili as part of the visit, Caliber.Az reports.
The issues of bilateral cooperation and regional issues will be discussed during the negotiations.
Friendly and neighbourly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia have historical roots; they have always been at a high level.
Georgia recognized the independence of Azerbaijan in 1991. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on November 18, 1992. The Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia has been operating since March 1996.
