Azerbaijan, Bulgaria discuss collaborative energy security projects
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov during the high-level week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly on September 27.
The two ministers explored the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, focusing on bilateral relations across political, economic, energy, transportation, and humanitarian sectors, as well as regional and international security, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.
Both sides emphasized that joint projects in energy security enhance mutually beneficial cooperation and highlighted the importance of mutual support within regional and international organizations.
Bayramov also provided his counterpart with an overview of the current situation and realities in the region post-conflict, discussing preparations for the upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Baku.
