Armenian forces open fire on Azerbaijani positions in Tovuzgala direction
On April 10, at approximately 20:55, units of the Armenian armed forces targeted Azerbaijani Army positions using small arms.
The attack was launched from Armenian positions located near the Seyrak Mesha settlement in the Tovuzgala district, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
According to the ministry, the assault was promptly met with adequate retaliatory measures by Azerbaijani units stationed in the area.
The recent incident on April 10 follows a series of similar provocations along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
Just one day earlier, on April 9 at around 23:50, Armenian armed forces stationed near the Mususkand settlement in Tovuzgala targeted Azerbaijani Army positions with small arms. Earlier the same day, between 19:25 and 19:35, Armenian units also engaged in intermittent small arms fire from positions near the Khaznavar and Khanazakh settlements in Armenia’s Gorus region, once again targeting Azerbaijani military positions.
