Milli Majlis to kick off autumn session on September 30

The first meeting of the autumn session of the seventh convocation of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis is scheduled for September 30.

The session will include the presentation of certificates to newly elected members of parliament by the Central Election Commission (CEC), Caliber.Az reports.

Additionally, the meeting will focus on the formation of parliamentary committees, marking a significant step in the legislative process for the new session.

President Ilham Aliyev called for the snap elections on June 28, 2024.

Parliamentary elections were held on September 1, 2024 in Azerbaijan.
